When our friends at Shopify asked for an exciting way to visualize their new Shop Pay Installments offering, we were more than happy to take a swing.

Parsing sections of highly-coveted products amidst sleek interiors helps bring their staggered payments system to life in an aspirational way that appeals to both customers and the small businesses that Shopify supports. Plus our collective love of fantastical furniture and architecture aesthetics made this one a veritable playground.

The Challenge

Our task was to create a visual representation of the Shop Pay Installments that clearly communicated the concept of partial payments. We needed to do this without suggesting that customers were buying products in pieces.

This required a careful balance of visual elements and innovative thinking to convey the right message. Our experiments spanned everything from the materiality of the products at play to how we could slice them up in ways that immediately signify partial payments without treading into purchasing products piecemeal.

We embraced the challenge by incorporating sleek interiors and sections of highly-coveted products to illustrate the staggered payments system. This approach not only made the concept visually appealing but also ensured it resonated with both customers and the small businesses that Shopify supports.

By focusing on the materiality of the products and adding a dash of delicious detail shots, we created a compelling visual narrative. This method allowed us to highlight the benefits of Shop Pay Installments in an aspirational and engaging manner.
